Hello from Greece!

The personal deadline that I have been working towards is finally here. I landed in Athens this morning, having spent the past month researching and preparing my scripts to shoot a few scenes here. I was unfortunately only able to finish two scripts, but the third is already underway. My family very generously made the mile long hike to the Ακαδιμια Πλατονος, otherwise known as Plato's academy. I shot two scenes there: One for Plato's video that I will definitely be using, and one for Isocrates video that I will use if I cannot find a better place to shoot the segment. I also took a ton of B-roll footage of the ruins, and even stumbled across the newly excavated remains of the Stoa, which I was not sure was even existent. My program with the Paideia Institute starts tomorrow morning, so I am not sure how much free time I will have in the coming weeks. Either way, my project has started off extremely well!
