Reading between the lines

Unfortunately, I still have not found the perfect solution to my filming problem from last month. So, instead of moving forward with the filming schedule, I have instead dedicated my time to refining my scripts for my videos. I have noticed upon rereading my scripts that my goal to make them sound conversational has often backfired. I am so focused on making them sound authentic when read aloud that I have a tendency to ramble, jumping from topics in a way that makes sense in my brain, but comes off as disjointed. So, to make revising my scrips easier, I have decided to feature some historical topic outside of just the school in question in each script. For example, while there are so many things I could say about Aristotle's peripatetic school, I have used the changing political tensions with Macedon to frame my narrative structure. While my script is still undeniably about Aristotle's Lyceum, using Macedonia as a historical background helps my script flow in a way that feels chronological.
