Setting the scene

Production for my videos is in full swing! Last week, I received my first submission from an outside source. One of the Greek teachers from the Paideia Institute sent me a video talking about Socrates, which I will use in my introduction video to set the stage for the rise of institutionalized schools. Unfortunately, I hit a bit of a road block in filming my scenes. When I returned to the park to film the next portion of my first video, the lighting was completely different. So, I have realized that I will need to set up a permanent background to film the majority of my scenes. I will still shoot a few on location if they benefit the storytelling of the content (for example, I plan to visit locations around the Severn campus that relate to the schools I am talking about), but the majority of my talking scenes will have to take place on a set. I plan to talk to Ms Campion about setting up in the alumni house, but we will see where I end up!
